World-class Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing skills:
· Lean-sigma leadership: sponsor lean initiatives, drive execution from Value Stream Maps to eliminate waste and improve productivity and velocity/lead-time; identify and sponsor 6-sigma initiatives to eliminate variability and produce predictability
· Problem solving: DMAIC, A3, MBF (Manage By Fact) processes to solve problems the first time
· Capacity improvements: OEE studies, SMED for quick Change-over, TPM for improvements in asset utilization
· Policy deployment (Hoshin Kanri) to align all teams in achievement of corporate objectives, and deliver results consistent with expectation
· Productivity improvements: 8 to 15% Year over Year (maybe as high as 25%)
· Quality improvements: 50% Year over Year from true root cause analysis, formal corrective action systems, effective problem solving with verification, and accountability
· Factory velocity improvements from reduction of WIP and creation of Flow/Pull, leading to improved deliveries and customer satisfaction
